Background

Caitlin first appeared around Mandratha working as a barmaid in a famous tavern, The Black Dog. Her bright smile and affable nature made her a favorite to the locals. Over a decade, Caitlin forged great bonds, especially with the tavern's owner, a surly Changeling known as Leorn. When Leorn decided to retire, he unceremoniously dropped ownership of The Black Dog into Caitlin's unsuspecting arms.

Though inexperienced as a proprietor, she took to the task wholeheartedly. It didn't take long before Caitlin grew accustomed to the ebb and flow — negotiating deals with suppliers, recruiting reliable staff, and renovating the beloved century-old tavern.

Caitlin tends the bar every night, serving clientele from every corner of Mandratha. The tavern attracts adventurers, vagabonds, and every-day street rabble. She lends an ear to those in need and often helps patrons network with one another to handle problems. Rumor has it that she has powerful connections throughout the city.
