I've long wondered how the many (hundreds of thousands? site metrics are annoyingly vague) who gen on civit go about downloading their pics.
Civit's own dowload tool (the button above the gen queue) is bad. Slow, not versatile, bad. I've long used @monkeypuzzle's awesome tool Civitai-Sync (available on civit here for anyone interested), it's excellent and customizable.
I still remember the days before civit provided its download button. I find it hard to believe everyone else just tediously right-click-saved their stuff.
What other tools/methods am i missing?
P.S. disclosure: I'm kinda in a pickle, monkeypuzzle's tool stopped working for me yesterday, and the eldritch specter of civit's 30-day deletion deadline is looming for some of my gens.
I'm getting "Could not connect to web service. Retrying" message every time I try to run it. Previously, that always meant my internet connection is down, but its definitely not that way now.
Anyone know why yesterday's backend overhaul would cause problems for this tool? any workaround? if it was a API change again, I think I'm out of luck.
P.P.S. monkeypuzzle's tool sorts its downloads by (among other options) reaction type (like, favorite, dislike). Highly useful for me. Any way to do that with any other tool?
