Download the
cvt-chrome-*.zipfile and unzip it to a folder of your choice 📂Open your browser and go to
chrome://extensionsEnable Developer Mode (toggle in the top right corner)
Click "Load unpacked" and select the unzipped folder
The ⚡ CVT toolbar should now appear at the top of every CivitAI page ✨
💡 Tip: Keep the unzipped folder somewhere safe — Chrome needs it to stay there!

Download the
cvt-firefox-*.zipfile — don't unzip it (Firefox uses the zip directly) 📦Open Firefox and go to
about:debuggingClick "This Firefox" → "Load Temporary Add-on…"
Select the
.zipfile directlyDone! The toolbar will appear on CivitAI right away ✨
⚠️ Note: Firefox temporary add-ons are removed when you close the browser. For a permanent install, a signed version via Firefox Add-ons is coming soon!
🔧 First Steps after Install
Visit civitai.com — the toolbar appears automatically at the top
Click the extension icon in your browser toolbar to open the settings popup
Set up your default collections and preferences
Use 👥 Users in the toolbar to start tracking your favorite creators!

There were a few issues with Watch processes running in the background in versions 2.0.0, 2.0.1, and 2.0.2, which caused the browser to refresh itself. This should be fixed in version 2.0.3.
