So I finally got over the "I don't know what in doing" hump and made some LoRA with the on-site trainer so here the story. This will be a bit tutorial and general ramblings about how it's gone.
1st and most important discovery is that it's cheap and easy to make a LoRA (making a good LoRA maybe less easy).
Making the Goblinizer.
I saved a bunch of daily challenge goblin images to a folder on my PC. I used around 70
Click the trainer, select style or concept (I don't know what this does, who cares).
After agreeing to something drag and drop your images into the appropriate box.
(This is the important bit). Auto Label, Tag. The black list is the important thing here, what is not in the tags goes into the lora so for this one I black listed goblin, pointy ears, green skin, grin and some more you get the idea. Maybe turn down the threshold, and up the tag limit then run the auto tagger.
Check tags manually delete those that you didn't think to add to the blacklist.
It's all down hill from here, add a trigger if you want one, I ignored the advanced setting because I've no idea what they do (maybe later) accepted default test prompt (probably this could be better), then set it in motion and wait a while.
Pick an Epoch and publish
This all took about 45 mins (ignoring the waiting but I was cooking then) and cost 500 buzz and the result worked OK, it made goblins and somewhat captured my style this could have been a good entry level daily challenge LoRA before the Darth Vader toilet meta took over.
It's good fun to see what people do with a creation like this, if you do it don't expect to be swimming in buzz but we need to spend our challenge winnings on something ;)
Overall it's good fun to do and I want to see an Icy style LoRA.
