Deleted Users [deleted]

Hello everyone,

Team, how are you all doing? I hope you're well.

I've started noticing that several profiles are showing as [deleted], and I have a question: Were these users banned/sanctioned for violating any rules, or did they simply decide to delete their accounts themselves?

I've seen that some of them had pretty good, high-quality NSFW content, which is why it's caught my attention. One of the cases that caught my eye the most was the user Andikaufman, who had excellent content, even incorporating his posts as comics, with dialogue and everything. Does anyone know exactly how this works on Civitai?

When a user voluntarily deletes their account, does the profile go to "[deleted]" and do the models/images remain visible?

Or do bans also show as "[deleted]" and remove the content?

It would really help me understand this so I don't have to speculate. I've read that since the policy updates (2025), there's more moderation on topics like likenesses of real people, content featuring minors (even stylized ones), incest, and certain extreme fetishes, but I'm not sure if that explains everything.

If anyone has experience or clearer information (no drama), I'd really appreciate it.
