First off, thank you to everyone who entered. I made this bounty intentionally difficult because I wanted to reward actual trailer-making skill, not just a quick 10 to 15 second AI clip tossed together from Sora, Grok, or whatever else. The goal was to find entries that really felt like absurd fake movies you’d see in a theater, right before turning to the person next to you and saying, “there’s no way this is real.”
That is exactly what the best entries delivered.
🥇 1st Place: Big Bird vs Animal by Dangas_GorgeousSluts
This one absolutely nailed the summer blockbuster trailer vibe. It had giant kaiju energy, some real Mortal Kombat-style fight moments, and a ton of obvious technical effort behind it. The pacing, scale, and overall theatrical feel were all there. You can tell this was built, not just generated.
Made with mostly Kling 3.0, some VEO 3.1, music from Suno, and I2V using Nano Banana Pro and later 2.0.
I’d watch this movie, and I’m bringing the kids.
🥈 2nd Place: Johnathan Smith by Liant
Another super strong entry. This one nailed the 80s coming-of-age movie vibe in a serious way, while still being really funny. The dialogue was great, the tone was consistent, and it felt like a real trailer for a bizarre lost classic that somehow should exist.
I’d watch this one with the guys and some drinks.
🥉 3rd Place: The Harvest of Hidden Valley by aifromcivitai
This one really captured the X-Files horror mystery feeling. The pacing worked, the mood worked, and the attached outtake reel was genuinely funny. One of my favorite running bits was how the 911 operator gets more stressed and sweatier with each cut. That detail alone deserves respect.
This is a Friday night, unwind, and watch something weird kind of movie.
Civitai also made this bounty more difficult than it should have been because of the bugged video bounty issue, which I did not know about when I launched this. Still, we all worked around it successfully, with Liant especially helping lead the way by sharing workarounds. Huge respect for that.
