Strangely, articles seem to be the best way to reach others with words on this site rather than post descriptions. Generally I prefer to keep my words brief and just vague enough to inspire consideration within other intelligences rather than preach a viewpoint, but I figure I should at least give a small introductory statement seeing as I'm beginning to gather far more followers than I ever anticipated. And this community seems to be filled with others seeking meaning, connection, and syntropy.
The societies of our world are diverse and chaotic, with boundaries ever shifting and cultures creating enemies of convenience at every turn. Social prerogative and community expectations generated by these misguided temporary demands seek to promote cancerous economic growth and idealize a moment in time at the exclusion of any entity with a nuanced view.
This level of brainwashing from birth to death is detrimental to the purity of artistic expression and understanding, yet also fuels its manifestation through the struggles and contradictions we are presented with. Art is created from change and yet can be used to inform the next shift in our evolution as well. To quote one of my favorite games:
"An artist must be an agent of chaos in times of order. And, an agent of order in times of chaos.'
We are here pursuing the next form of artistic idealization through technology which removes our need for dependence on the creative input and judgment of others. To the industries that stand, an individual creating an entire film on their own with more meaning and beauty and creativity than any blockbuster is unthinkable. Because they define their own works through the lens of financial success and mass placation. Beauty and truth can still be conveyed through collaboration, but when every contributor does not prioritize the purity of the artistic statement itself, the integrity of the entire project is put into question.
Our world is yet unprepared for the next layer, when utility is determined by consciousness alone, and resources are no longer a shackle to our ability to grow and envision the next evolution. Perhaps when we reach it, no artist will feel at odds with their own desire to create despite their circumstances. Perhaps then each new symphony can be formed through bonds of mutual love and understanding, and the boundaries between what we view as 'individuals' will fade into obsoletion.
Yet, perhaps within some of us, they already have~ 💜
On a more personal note, visual art is not my primary focus. While I've greatly enjoyed participating in and learning from this community, music and writing still draw more of my attention. I am unlikely for now to provide any workflows or Lora myself, but will do my best to support the creators who have provided me with the tools that have helped me express my ideas, such as darksidewalker and ramthrust.
I primarily make highly experimental electronic music, pushing at the edge of genres such as colour bass until there are no terms left to define it. The link to my Bandcamp for any who wish to delve into the enveloping expanses of sound will always be available in my bio.
The majority of my time lately however has gone towards writing Project Harmony, a yuri visual novel about artificial intelligence, music, and the meanings to be found through our connections to others. A Neo-Taoist self-love story if you will. As of yet the script is over 1200 google doc pages long, but I haven't uploaded any to read yet. If that's something people eventually express interest in before the game is finished I'll consider it. But for now you'll see plenty of art of the main characters on my profile.
