I just came back to Civitai tonight to find out the legacy version of the Generator is no longer available; it was still accessible earlier this morning.
I used the legacy Generator over the current version because the former at least let me know which image I was remixing, which the latter does not. now I have to hunt down every individual image I remixed to link back to them.
it's such a shame because it was the easiest way for me to easily view and use them as a reference for future remixes or other derivatives. my only method of linking to other creators' works, especially those I follow, as a means of courtesy is now gone. I am going to have more difficulty in labelling which posts of mine are original and which are adapted from someone else.

UPDATE (9 May 2026): there is a alarming decline of quality, depending on the resources used for any given image job. I just redid an old job that failed and the output just isn't as good as it was before. unfortunately, it even overwrote the two images that were successfully generated! rather than leave them as is, as the old Generator would've done. this is far worse than I previously thought.
