I hesitated many times before writing this post, but I’ve finally decided to clarify a few things. I’m not complaining, nor am I trying to prove anyone wrong. However, it’s genuinely hurtful to repeatedly encounter certain remarks in other users’ articles. This message specifically concerns the “Featured” section.
I understand people’s feelings and opinions regarding the site’s current issues—I’ve already shared my thoughts on this in previous posts. Let me start by saying that I’ve never asked for help or begged for coins. You won’t find a single request from me for tips or donations in any form. Everything I create is purely a product of my imagination.
About a year ago, I experienced a difficult personal situation that temporarily left me reliant on crutches. As a result, I found myself with plenty of free time. To distract myself and move past those hardships, I devoted all my spare time to this site. This answers the frequent question of how I manage to produce so many images.
I have a stubborn personality, and my pride prevents me from chasing popularity by spamming comments under other people’s popular works. I rarely leave comments, and only when I genuinely appreciate an image. Whenever someone voluntarily sends me coins, I always try to thank them personally as a sign of respect and gratitude.
Due to my limited language skills, many people mistakenly assume I’m male. Let me clarify right away: I am a woman!
Regarding the “Featured” section: yes, some of my works have been selected. However, I never lobby for inclusion, nor do I pay coins to get featured. My earliest pieces were chosen back when human moderators personally curated the selections. I never complained or sought sympathy during difficult times; I simply kept doing what I love out of sheer determination. That’s why it’s particularly hurtful to read articles labeling featured artists as “talentless” or claiming that bots exclusively control the selection process.
Here’s an important point: if bots were truly responsible, they would likely be programmed to select only PG-rated content. However, the Featured section also includes PG-13 images, which clearly indicates that human curators are still involved in the selection process.
To those who write articles about the Featured section: please refrain from making harsh judgments without knowing the full story. Such accusations are deeply unpleasant and unfair.
Lastly, to those who frequently ask: I do not use pre-made models or templates. All my work is created entirely from scratch, based solely on my own imagination.
I have no habit of taking other people’s images. I’ve repeatedly found my own works posted on other users’ pages, but I have never done anything like that myself. Let that rest on their conscience.
Please forgive me if I haven’t been able to reply to everyone. I’ll just say this: no one gave me advice or instructions; I learned everything through trial and error. There was only one person who supported me, but unfortunately, they left this site.
By nature, I am a shy person, and I find it difficult to make new friends. I try not to bother or impose on anyone, so it sometimes hurts to face unwarranted criticism and harsh words. Everyone has their own vision of beauty and how things should look. We are all creators of our own fantasies.
I am not seeking any financial gain. I create to distract myself from the past and to keep depression at bay.
