Thank you for coming. Before we start, let's just clarify 3 things:
Pser: Prompt Stealer (it's an analogy to the term Kser used in MMORPGs, where someone kills someone else's monster);
As a lawyer for over 15 years and a computer enthusiast since the 1980s, I reserve the right to express my opinion in this incredible community;
English is not my native language, so, sorry for the bad english. 😅
That said, I'd like to quickly clarify what is a Pser:
A prompt stealer would be an individual who uses someone else's prompt, for whatever reason.
Many people don't care about this, and nor should they. But I've saw some discussion in Discord and, well...
First, you can hide your prompt when posting an image, including the SEED and Checkpoint you used. But honestly, you shouldn't.
Secondly, and here from a legal perspective, you do NOT own the prompt. No matter how much you thought up the prompt to generate the result you wanted. There is no law in the world that grants the right of exclusive use over a prompt.
Thirdly, when you make the prompt, you used available, you are in a way teaching other people about prompt engineering, so that tomorrow or the next day they can create their own prompts.
Fourth, it is very difficult to prove that you are the original creator of a prompt, an example of this is:
HDR, RTXI'm sure you've seen a lot of prompts with these two in the positive, haven't you?
Well, I started using these two out of the blue on Yodayo in February this year. Until then, I hadn't seen these two anywhere. In other words, if you've ever seen or used these two tokens, it was most likely created by me on Yodayo or OnlyFakes, or someone else saw them, used them and you saw their generation.
Anyway, I'm not here to complain that I created these tokens, because. Well, they're not good for ANYTHING. 😅😅😅
Yeah, at the time I believed they made a difference, and in a way, they do, they create noise, but at no point will the AI add HDR or RTX when rendering an image. It's like using "masterpiece, absures etc".
Another example and one that generates some results is:
polydactylyThe one you use in the negative is another token, which I've been using since April of this year and until then I'd never seen anyone use it.
Finally, if someone uses your prompt, you should first look at the following.
Was the model the same as the one you used? Was the SEED the same?
Because sometimes, as is the case with me, I use a prompt that I see and find the result beautiful using one of my checkpoints. Why is that? Because I think the result looks better on my model, of course. So, I think (IMO): gee, if the creator had done this on my model, it would look better, I'll use the same prompt to show it. 🤣🤣🤣
So, as I said, there's no such thing as Pser, and if it bothers you, you can hide the generation information from your creation, but honestly, I don't think you should.
