I wanted to take this time to introduce myself to all here.

Well, that was embarrassing.
But, well, sometimes you just have to say it, even when it’s about yourself.
Growing up I had heard things like, “Well son, if it walks like a duck, and talks like
a duck…it is a?” my father would ask.
I would respond, “A goose?”
And I wonder why I got in trouble growing up. 😒
“No son! If it walks like a duck, and talks like a duck, it’s a duck!”
Honestly, I don’t think he understood a rather new invention called sarcasm. 🤷🏻♂️
Here was another fun one. “If the shoe fits, wear it.”
Well that seems rather obvious too. What else is a shoe for?
After I removed said shoe from my rather sore evacuation point located between
my upper thighs and lower back I think I discovered the real purpose of shoes. I
did not care for that lesson.
But it was sayings like those that brought me to this one.
“If the only one not getting the obvious, you might be Captain of that team.”
Ok…you caught me. I actually just made that up, but, I still say it fits.

I guess you are wanting to find out why I had to call myself out and say I was
Captain Obvious.

I just discovered, after a year of being on this site, how to see the new art
of those you follow, without having to go to every single person, one
at a time to try to see what is new.
“I know…I know.”
I fit that moniker today.
But to be fair, it’s not like its obvious.

So for all those other Captain’s of Obviousness that are out there and going: “Wait! What?” 🤯 here is how you do it.
Ok, front page of Civitai.
Click on images.
Then off to the far right just under your profile image (if you have one) and just under where it says “Create” it most likely says “Everyone”. If you click that, you can then choose “Followed”.
I know, how did I miss that?
Then assuming you already have newest images selected, instead of oldest, or most reactions or most comments or even most collected, you will then see those you followed newest images they made and posted.
A YEAR!
For a year I missed that tiny detail. I looked all over the place for it.

I have one follower, I have no idea who it is, and a HUGE thank you to whoever it is, that somehow sends me a thumbs up on the majority of my images, no matter what time of day or night it is, just a moment or two after I post those images. And I have been wondering for the longest time how they knew when I posted.
When I have looked for my own images (apparently the hard way, all of my images would get mixed in with everyone else’s.
So I just could not figure out how that person did it.
But that must be how they are doing it.
If you want to have a bit of fun, why not drop a comment stating how you perhaps became CAPTAIN OBVIOUS once or twice yourself at something.
