YouTube Song Release- Midnight Echo Heartbeat

Hi everyone! I'm still recovering from the shame of releasing a Krea 2 LoRA for the civit contest and then immediately yoinking it because of Civit issues. I want to adhere to a professional standard, and only release properly working models in the right way at the right time, and I deeply regret failing in that this time for reasons beyond my control. Thank you all again for your amazing understanding... +1 million hugs for everyone! The real version should be out eventually. So far it's been 18+ hours and counting waiting for a landscape pic with no people to be re-rated from PG-13 to PG so it will qualify... Fingers crossed!

On Friday I again had the incredible honor of releasing a collaboration with the incredible @shepretends! I am endlessly humbled to get to work together with amazing people here and hope you'll check out @shepretends' incredible stories when you have time. They inspired me to write a fan song earlier, so take that as an indication of how epic they are!

As for my regular music, yeah, I skipped last week because I had a lot going on and honestly my heart just wasn't in it. I had every intention of having a song ready Friday, but with the creator shops thing distracting me earlier and now that cursed Krea 2 contest that gave me so much trouble I just panicked and had no time. I made the song, in between it all, but the article... Yeah, I typed it up on my phone at 1:13 in the morning in bed before I fell asleep for a few hours 😅

For the song I imagined a girl in a futuristic city in a relationship with someone she isn't sure she wants to get entangled with, and finds herself being drawn to them with that exciting mix of hesitancy and anticipation of new romance. She got a text inviting to meet at a party in a glamorous skyscraper, which she initially pretends to ignore but then finds herself going to anyway. She gets dressed up nice, but her bullet train is late, and it rains, and by the time she's riding the glass elevator to the top floor she doesn't know if she wants to actually get off or not. The double glass elevator doors open, and she sees the person there... and she finds herself drawn in and dancing. The images here are scenes from my imagining it.

As always, lyrics are in the YouTube video description, and subtitles can be enabled in the video settings.

The last week on Civit took a real nosedive... the whole site broke again, access to major features got limited to members only for a while to ease the load again, and I'm not the only person to get whacked by a major stumble, or feel bad enough about it to end up releasing an article explaining the situation! Thanks for sticking together, this community has been rocked by hard times so much, but still always holds on. We'll get through this, too!!
