Basically, It seems like Civitai is trying to put monetization choices onto the model owners instead of having a 25% of collected buzz per generation.
I think they also want to have more people being members to there will be some limits on the thing.
Personally, I have just generated images, because paying roughly $10 USD a month for a hundred images a day made sense.
I did do this before yellow buzz got banished from the credit cards (now the only easy sources of new yellow buzz are knights of new order (rating images) and crypto buys), but looking at my monthly habits I earned at least 20k blue buzz per month, and didn't spend yellow, so being forced to get a green membership didn't really impact me.
Also, because the tagging system can really shit the bed, posting/generating on civitai.com makes no sense.
Edit they are making the changes opt in. We shall see how this develops
