So long, and thanks for all the fish

Like my last article, I wasn't originally planning on posting something like this when I started uploading the LORAs I trained, but since I have more followers than I ever anticipated getting, I figured it would at least be polite to explain why I will now stop uploading consistently.

The short version:

I've uploaded all of the models I wanted to train, so I'm basically done! I may still upload from time to time if an idea really catches my interest, but it will not be with remotely the frequency and consistency you may have seen over the past couple of months. To be clear, this has nothing to do with the recent creator compensation stuff, as I was never trying to make anything from this anyway. Thanks for following and I hope you found my models to be of high quality.

End of short version!

Now, for those who care and are willing to let me be a little dramatic, the long version:

As I stated in my previous article, this started as something done purely out of personal interest. However, as time went on, and especially because of some models just not doing well and others being entirely removed outside of my control, it turned from a hobby into an anxiety-ridden chore. I wanted to do it because I wanted to make artist styles available to Anima that I saw were trained on other models but not on Anima yet, but now each upload has me afraid and wondering if it will be wanted (or, in the case of a few of them, even allowed).

Combine that with me essentially having gotten through the list of models I personally really wanted to train anyway, and we arrive at the fact that I see no reason to continue and would like to free myself of the anxiety this, originally interesting hobby, has evolved with. Now, obviously, it's not like I was doing anything really important anyway, but... Still, I ended up valuing how well my models did and if people liked them, hoping people found them useful and like what I trained. Honestly, I may have been better off just training them for my own personal use and not sharing them, as I had already been doing, if I knew my brain would pull that fast one on me. Oh, but on the note of models being allowed/not...

I had a few models (3, at the time of posting this) that CivitAI removed. All of these were artist styles that, at the time I uploaded them, I had not seen an Anima LORA for but did see them for NoobAI, Illustrious, and/or other base models. I figured they were safe to train and make available for others to use, as they already existed for other models. I was wrong. All of them have been unpublished and deleted, and will not be republished (I tried). I am tempted to reupload them as bare bones with no NSFW generation allowed in the hopes they won't get immediately taken down again, but I find it unlikely, so I don't think I'll bother.

However, you can still find them on my Tensor.art profile where they are, and always will be, free to download without the need for an account (Turns out you absolutely do need an account. STILL FREE THOUGH). Get them there if you want them. They are pinned and clearly marked "Exclusive" (since that really is the only place they exist for now). I'm just using this as a visual marker, not as an actual means to earn anything on that site, I've never wanted or tried to earn anything from this. In the event that more models of mine are removed for whatever reason, always check my Tensor if you want any of them.

I will maybe be uploading all of my models to HuggingFace in the future, or perhaps even making some sort of MEGA folder or something to ensure my models can all be accessed by anyone who wants them without anxiety of them potentially being removed (PixAI doesn't support Anima LORA very well right now and I have a SeaArt account, but hate that site's UX so much that I stopped posting there long ago). If anyone has any other ideas for places to upload, I'd love to hear them. I've seen plenty of articles recently with the comments all musing as to where LORAs could be uploaded if not here, but the usual answers are all the same.

Otherwise, the only one removed that has an Anima equivalent still on site is Zankuro's style uploaded by KojiroNsfw, as of the time of posting this. It is excellent at imitating the artist's full body of work, compared to mine which is focused on their more recent works. (I'll admit it stings a bit to see this model succeed to do what I failed to do since my model was removed and won't be coming back, but I would obviously prefer if this one gets to stay up even if mine wasn't allowed to. After all, if my goal was to ensure artist styles I like exist as LORAs for Anima, this fulfills it anyway!)

As a side note, it seems my Sakimori Dan/Danbo style for Anima didn't properly hit the system. I had to manually unpublish and republish days later to get it to show up at all (no violation or anything, it just... didn't show up in the first place unless you searched for it). I got it show up now, but if you are interested and missed it, figured I would bring it up.

End of long version!

And, that's all there is. I'm done with consistent uploads and maybe even done in general. So... So long, and thanks for all the fish!
