This is an update to this article because an edit in the original doesn't have the same reach. We were able to confirm through testing that any share of "creator tips" on the generator that would go to a model with a licensing fee just dissapears into the ether. If you're generating with only models that have a license fee, turn off the creator tip because it won't go to them anyway. If you're using a mix, for example a checkpoint without a fee and one LoRa with a fee, then half of the tip goes to the checkpoint owner and the other half gets set on fire.
