I am going to take a break soon, without any specific date to return. Here are the reasons:
I do not get paid for this. As life is pressuring me, I have to find other ways to make money. Or at least, cut electricity usage.
Im bored. I used to do this because I like experimenting. But now I have other stuff to experiment with.
Making good lora consume time. I have to manually edit some images and then upscale them. Sometime I have to remake a lora because it isn't up to my standard. Training lora on high quality images has better result, but take around 4 times more time.
I manually label the dataset instead of auto labeling. Its time consuming, can take somewhere from 15 to 30 minutes. Labeling the dataset is the most boring part but it can make or break your lora if something is not explicitly said. In fact MANY of my lora was not first try. And auto labeling sucks for the most part, because fact checking every single wrong tag is even more tiresome than actually write my own.
