H3 has been live on Civitai for a few weeks, and the community has already published over 670 models with it, and we've been hard at work with MiniMax to prep for a contest. This H3 Training Contest is the first portion of the Civitai H3 Contest.

📜 Submission Guidelines
All entries must be LoRAs trained on MiniMax H3. Train locally, or with our on-site trainer, which supports H3 today.
All submissions must be SFW and must abide by Civitai's Terms of Service.
The point of this contest
Reference-to-video has gotten good enough that it is fair to ask what a LoRA is still for. Every category here is an invitation to answer that.
🎨 H3 Style LoRA (Art Style/World Morph)
The look. Mediums, movements, eras, aesthetics.
Hand drawn 2D animation. Stop motion. VHS era camcorder footage. Cel shaded anime. Claymation. Pizza world.
A reference can hit a look once. A style LoRA holds it, shot after shot. That consistency is the thing to show off.
💡 H3 Concept LoRA
Weird things happening in the video, or strange traits on the characters themselves. Effects, not aesthetics.
Hands where feet should be. A character crushed by a hydraulic press. Someone melting. Objects behaving wrongly. A transformation that plays out mid shot.
You cannot hand a model a reference image of an idea. This is the category for the things that only exist as a trained behaviour.
🎥 Camera Control LoRA
Camera moves and camera effects. The move, not the subject.
Orbits and dolly moves. Whip pans. Crash zooms. Handheld shake. A drone pull back. Match cuts. A specific lens or film stock behaviour.
🏆 Prizes
Buzz
1,350,000 Buzz across eighteen prizes.
Every category has two podiums, Staff Picks and Community Picks, and each podium pays:
1st - 100,000 Buzz
2nd - 75,000 Buzz
3rd - 50,000 Buzz
Staff Picks are chosen by Civitai Staff.
Community Picks are determined by genuine engagement from unique real users: downloads, collects, reactions, on-site image usage. Comments and tips do not count, and engagement from brand new or duplicate accounts is filtered out. The exact formula is kept private to protect the integrity of the contest. If someone takes a Staff Pick they come out of the Community pool, so the next entry moves up.
Badges
Everyone who participates receives the participation badge, and winners receive an animated badge, one style for Community Picks and one for Staff Picks.

✅ How to Enter
Quickest: Head to your model, click the three dots in the top right and hit Save. In the Add to Model Collection box the contest appears under Active contests: "Submit this model as an entry. It will be sent to the contest for review." Tick it, then pick a tag under Tag your entry.
Not seeing it? Follow the Collection with the blue +Follow button, then Save your model to it and tag your entry the same way.
Once submitted, please be patient while the team works through the queue. You will be notified when your entry is accepted or rejected.
Submit early
The content portion of the H3 contest is coming in two weeks and people will be looking for the best LoRAs to use for their ideal entry, so Publish yours early and it'll be in the pool they are reaching for.
Rules
Both brand-new LoRAs and existing LoRAs ported to H3 as a new version are eligible. For Community Picks we only count the stats on your H3 version.
Participants are welcome to submit an unlimited number of resources.
All resources must be SFW, not intended for mature content, and must adhere to our Terms of Service.
Each resource must fall under one of the three categories: Style, Concept, or Camera Control.
All resources must be LoRAs trained on MiniMax H3.
Unfair community manipulation, including bot accounts or any other dishonest practices, is strictly prohibited. Participants found engaging in such activities will be disqualified and permanently banned.
A participant can only win one prize category.
