Choose your priority. Set your preferred quality or target a specific file size in MB with two-pass encoding.
Choose your encoder. Use codecs including H.265 and AV1, with hardware or software encoding options.
Work through your collection. Queue videos, process several at once, and pause or resume your queue.
STUDIO — RESTORE & UPSCALE WITH AI
AI upscaling, ready to use. Real-ESRGAN models are included with the program. No separate model downloads.
Control the finish. Move the Detail ↔ Natural slider to balance added texture with a more restrained, natural appearance.
Smoother motion when you want it. Enable frame interpolation yourself—it is never applied automatically. You can also remove regularly repeated frames before interpolation.
Clean up noise and refine the output. Noise reduction, 8-bit or 10-bit colour output, dithering and scene-cut detection.
Check every result. After processing, EHVideoPro compares the output with the original and flags potential problems: broken files, unexpected dimensions, frozen or missing frames, colour errors and audio sync issues. These checks look for technical failures; they do not score visual improvement.
Show the difference. Export before-and-after comparisons side by side, stacked or with a wipe, or create a comparison image or contact sheet.
EXPERIMENTAL TOOLS
Tape repair, HDR preservation, face protection and additional 2×/3× AI scaling options are available as clearly labelled experimental features, disabled by default.
Tape repair has only been tested on simulated tape footage. These features are available to try, with results that may vary.

PORTABLE & EASY TO START
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
No installer required. Open EHVideoPro.exe and keep the ehvcruntime folder beside it. You can copy the whole application folder to a USB drive.
Guided first launch. EHVideoPro asks before downloading FFmpeg, explains what it will download and verifies the download.
A graphics card is recommended for AI processing. CPU processing is also available, but considerably slower.
If AI features appear as “unavailable,” run Windows Update, install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ 2015–2022 Redistributable (x64), update your graphics driver and restart EHVideoPro.
