Falling in Love
Create an image of a scene that portrays what it is to fall in love. This can be love at first sight, or just that moment when something changes and they actually start seeing each other in a different light. Prefer a "show, don't tell" approach, where the image will do the storytelling. Maybe it's a first date, a sleepover, the characters meeting for a party... there are no restrictions in that sense.
First or third person. For first person, it should highlight the loved one's features, charm, attitude, etc., that may have caused someone to fall in love. It could be something humorous too, of course. For third person, you might want to explore how they interact; I tend to lean a bit more on the side of recommending third person, to make things a bit different from my first crucible, but it's up to you.
One character or more, but it must be clear who the main characters are, and that they are falling in love.
Any orientation is fine. Portrait might emphasize the closeness between the characters, especially if there's a pair, or narrow the focus onto a subject. Landscape orientation is fine too, but it generally seems to demand a bit more context, imho.
Ideally one should be able to tell at a glance the general setting / genre, the character's personalities, what they do, how they interact with the world - and with other characters, should there be more than one.
It's all right to include text, speech bubbles, narration, etc, just don't overdo it. Probably no more than two short sentences. English and other languages are fine, just remember that most of us here may not be able to read a language other than English. There's no need to reference the concept of falling in love explicitly... the way I see it that doesn't really add much value.
Please don't add fake / garbled text. If you're adding text, especially text in speech bubbles or as narration, it actually has to mean something. An exception to that is general text in plaques or signs, that often comes out garbled during generation.
This is a stretch goal: some light world-building enhances the concept. Emphasis on light: the falling in love part is the primary goal.
I would like to ask entrants not to send challenge entries. I didn't want to have a specific genre or setting, but there's really no sense of immersion in seeing some of the shoehorned concepts that are used in the challenges...
Any setting, any model, any LoRAs.
Have fun! :)
If you're participating in the crucible or judging entries, I kindly ask you to write a short comment in the crucible. Could be something simple like "aye", or whatever, just to let me know that you read this.
Feel free to ask or comment if you have any questions or suggestions!
