Stable Diffusion is an amazing open sourced tool. CivitAI is a great site full of incredible open source models, trained on open source (or at least publicly available) images. That said, the fact that people use all of this freely created and shared software and data to create images, then scrub the generation data and share here seems so wrong to me. Every bit of what they used to make those images is open, public and shared, yet they take the last few steps in a long chain of hard work, and post the final work without the context. If you are one of those people and you're reading this, please consider sharing with prompts going forward. We are all a group of random people online being creative together - you benefit from what others shared freely, now allow us to benefit as well.
Anyways, I really appreciate this community and am thankful to those that build the tools, train the models, and share the images (and prompts) that make this level of creativity and expression possible for chumps like myself.
Thanks
PS: If you read this and are already feverishly tying your rebuttal - respectfully, don't. I am not picking on anyone specifically, and I don't want to argue the finer points of open sourced pseudo ethics.
