One hour ago, I read an article basically saying that now, Civitai is becoming a porn site.

Before starting to put my grain of salt, I have to say I 100% agree with this article.
So that said, now let's put another grain of salt.
When I start my AI journey one year ago and begin to go on Civitai, I found here a lot of good artistic resources. In fact, 100% of the models I use for making my music cover are from Civitai, which is great.
But I have to say that if I'd started my journey yesterday, I'd have to dig very deep into the website to find very insteresting things.
Now, what we find here is basically toons (always the same like Pokemon and so), semi-realistic model and a lot (I mean A LOT) of Pony things.
We all don't have graphic cards that can support even SDXL (graphic cards are expansive and life is too now) so all these Pony things are away from the hand of a majority of us. I guess, I didn't make a survey on that to be affirmative but I suppose that people prefer eating and pay their bills instead of buying expansives graphic cards to generate Pony Porn. Because yes, majority of the generated image made with Pony things are porn pics.
That was my first grain of salt.
I have another one and this one is, imo, a bit more important.
Stable Diffusion is Open Source, which mean that the models are made by volonteer pationate peoples. The spirit of Open Source is sharing. Sharing is the key that make project like Linux, e.g, possible and viables to the point that it goes to the mainstream (OSX is a fork from Debian).
So maybe someone will be able to explain to me why more an more peoples doesn't post pic with their parameters anymore ?
Is that make sense ?
When I started this AI journey, I have learn a lot by examining parameters of pics in posts. I tried to reproduce them to learn by try and error, and it was fantastic.
But as I said above, how newcomers will be able to learn generative AI if more and more people are posting their pics without their parameters ?
Also what is exactly the purpose of doing this ?
It is like saying: eh, look at what I'm able to do, great isn't it ? So go f..k yourself, I keep the recipe and you, just starve.
This is against Open Source spirit. And therefore, against Stable Diffusion itself and its development.
So please guys, think about all of this before posting any pic on Civitai.
