The "Fast" Styleguide for Stable-Diffusion
have you ever wanted to prompt a certain style and thought; 'this is almost it... but not just yet'. Well then this guide might be your solution!
This article is focused on showing you how to invoke styles and varieties on the topics you like to see. I'm not about to give you a complete list of every style I prompted (although some will be included), but introduce a method to you, which you can use to alter your output in a simple yet effective way again.
Invoking a style:
all of these prompts are being differently interpreted by the 1.5/XL models.
But all serve the same purpose for us. Which is influencing the style in a simple yet effective manner.
The following tags can be used for artistsnames/brands or even general objects. So let's take toys for example like by-barbie or by-hotwheels. Or some nice painters like by-Raphael or by-Josephine-wall. And offcourse platforms like by-deviantart or by-artstation.
"by-, -style, -stylization, inspired-by-, -aesthetics":
"-punk": works a bit differently. The model has learned from terms like steampunk, cyberpunk, solarpunk and such in a way that punk has become a style classifier. It also works with colors, effects and locations. So think of things like pinkpunk, desertpunk, biopunk, Victorianpunk.
"-punk":
"core": works the same like punk. The model has learned from terms like cottagecore, devilcore, angelcore and styles like that. This generally keeps scenes natural like you expect in real life but adds a style over it. Where -punk seemed to influence the base of the generated image more. Which is more useful for fantasy/scifi scenes.
Think of terms like acidcore, applecore, tarcore or even spaghetticore when using these tags.
"core":
Oh right, all of the above tags, can be used together! And you can also use them as negative tags.
Style-types:
I've written this before, but in case you didn't read my previous articles.
There are a lot of styles to choose from. Ranging from Artists/Artstyles, Brands, Fashionstyles, products, elements, animaltypes and what not. So how to get a image that is aesthetically pleasing? Especially when just adding quality tokens like "masterpiece" don't give you the output you wanted. I often find myself puzzling together prompts that work well together.
So when it comes to prompts like; masterpiece, masterwork and 4KUHD,
there is a high likelihood the prompts will have a more creative base. So more epic-fantasy-art styles.
Where as with prompts like; Rawphotography, DSLR, Breathtaking-view, depth-of-view,
there is a bigger chance of getting scenes based of reallife with real locations. So more natural-amateur/professional photography styles.

Endnote:
I'm still working on my older journals. But as this is a continually growing project and I still have a dozen of topics to cover and add, I'm unsure of what to prioritize. I also get lost in the daily slice of life and lose time with prompting and doing artsy things. I'm only human after all. :P
Also, If you have the ability to use scripts. Prompt-S/R: Is useful if you use alot of different tags with the same concept. So pinkcore-pinkpunk-pinkstyle. "Putting: pink, apple, carrot"can help to create a batch of images really fast with different styles. Because with each prompt it will swap all the "pink" from "pinkcore-pinkpunk" for the next tag in the sequence "applecore-applepunk", and then "carrot" after.
Well, Happy prompting and thanks for reading, hope I didn't waste your time! <3
