Greetings fellow AI enthusiast.
Whether you are one following my work or just discovering it I wish to thank you for your time.
Let me write a word or two about future plans for my current and mostly Vehicle oriented Lora work (or the future equipment of it)
If there was wondering why hanging onto SD1.5 Lora training and not moving onto SDXL then the reason is simple; SD3.
I decided to want for the 3rd generation of AI image generation systems and skip 2nd or XL versions altogether.
It is my hope that 3rd generation AI will be even better in learning and preserving details of source material then the 1st and 2nd combined.
Now for the true purpose of it all, my focus on training the Vehicle Loras is not only enthusiasm about vehicles and fun factor of it (as it is anyway) but also looking into a viability of digital conservation and preservation of the source material related to the real world objects.
While many original objects are few and between in collections and alike, some are already lost forever with few recorded photos that if lucky were digitally scaned for extended preservation.
My hope is that Lora or its equivalents can be used as digital preservation tool of those objects from the photographic source materials enabling for future digital conservation of it plus usage of it in events like presentations or recreations of it.
What are your thoughts on it? Do you think AI and Lora systems have conservation value?
Discuss and expand, hope is to open a whole new approach to possibilities presented.
Yours truly New Fossil
