Introduction to AIpub Discord

I started AIpub in April 2023 as a Discord community for discussing and sharing AI art. More than a year later, it has grown into something much more. Today, we have members sharing AI art, videos, and music, as well as discussing best practices and providing help and tutorials on fine-tuning, LoRa training, ComfyUI workflows, and much more.

Focusing on art, we have a general AI art channel where people can post their creations for everyone to enjoy.

Additionally, if you have a lot of content to share, we offer a forum system called "Creator Corners." Here, you can create your own forum post to share as much as you like. This helps reduce spam in the general art channel and ensures that everyone’s art has an equal chance to be seen.

We also host weekly themed art contests, allowing you to challenge yourself with new concepts each week.

Introduction to AIpub.social

In addition to being a wonderful Discord community for over a year, we now have a dedicated Mastodon instance called AIpub.social—a social media site specifically for AI enthusiasts!

What is Mastodon?

Mastodon is a social media platform that operates similarly to Twitter, but it's decentralized and open-source. Instead of being controlled by a single company, Mastodon is made up of many interconnected servers called "instances." Each instance can have its own rules and community guidelines, but they can still interact with each other. This decentralized approach means that users have more control over their data and experience a greater diversity of online communities.
