An Update and announcement - My Journey into LORA creation

So just wanted to write an article just to outline my thoughts and everything I have been doing so far.

First of all, I want to acknowledge everyone who have been following me especially the few of you who have been supporting me along this month and a half or so.

It's been about 43 days since I created my first LORA, and 39 days since I would put my official start with my WoF LORAs.

To count today writing this article, I have created 49 LORAs so far, which is more than 1 a day. I've got to admit, i have gotten faster and faster to the point where I can create a LORA quite quickly because I have the entire process down.

I never thought I would started to create LORAs because it looked really complicated. One day I just decided to try it and fail a few times before realizing the process to do so was easy. Ever since then, I've enjoyed creating LORAs more than creating pictures itself which leads to where I am here today. (Read this article i wrote awhile back if you want to know my rough process of creating a LORA)

And ever since that day, so many crazy things have happened.

From getting tipped massive amount of buzz for my LORAs, to being threatened for creating one LORA (wrote my thoughts about this below), and many more.

Just want to write down a few thoughts and questions you might have here

Why do all my LORAs look the same?

I mean if you've noticed the cover photos for all my pictures you would have noticed..

To answer this simply: I think it became my signature thing unintentionally. When I first created my first few LORAs, i wanted to create images quickly and reused the same prompts from model A to model B to model C.

So now.. if you see a model lying on the bed, you know it's me who created that LORA πŸ˜†

But eventually I realized if I wanted to create more LORAs, I shouldn't be spending time focusing on images but focusing time to create more LORAs.

In that sense, just getting the MVP (minimum viable product) to show that my LORA works is my goal. Once that is done, I'll then quickly move on to the next LORA.

Till today, I still use the same process albeit it being more structured now in creating the pictures for each LORA. I still have people enjoying my generated pictures from what I know, so that's a plus.

BUT... I would say I'll leave the actual picture generations to you all who are able to use your creativity in prompting. I've seen some very good ones so far, and I would encourage you all to explore further if using my LORA because i'm not the most creative one here 🀣

Are you going to create XXXXX LORA?

So as my username goes.. you know what i've been creating. But, I'm thinking of opening myself up to more than just dragons too. Scalies come to mind, but dragons will still be my focus for now.

Also, most of what I've produced so far is really just what I want to create essentially.

What I mean is that these are LORAs that no one had made a decent one before yet, like the WoF LORAs.

Or if I've create a 'duplicate' LORA that already exists (that means that the model is available for Pony)...

.. it is really just because I feel like creating it with my style of training that could have different results.

Funny story is that someone actually 'accused' me of copying them after creating a LORA of a character that they had made already, which is essentially a duplicate. I found this really interesting because I would never expect something like this to happen lol.

My thoughts on this really is: I don't care if someone comes along and do more LORAs for the same characters I have created a LORA for. In fact, I actually welcome them if so since I don't own the characters myself. (Unless their profile is a blatant copy of ALL my LORAs then we may have a problem lol)

Either way back to topic... am I going to create a certain LORA? I guess you can say it depends on what I want to make...

But also recently I've started to take requests especially from people who tipped me so far. I may be open to taking commissions, but I'm not too sure if that's something people might want?

Of course, it'll be in buzz and not actual money.

If this sounds like something that interest you, maybe leave me a comment especially if you want to see a certain dragon?

Of course if you don't have buzz, you are free to leave any suggestions too but just that my priority for people who tip me will be way higher.

Gotta make this huge but I want to thank everyone who have tipped me buzz no matter the amount. Your buzz helps me continue the work that I do here :)

Also for those who have limited buzz and can't tip, you still can support me by: liking my posts or liking my models, collecting my posts or model... all these generate buzz for me as well!

OR... if you're just using my LORA, then do this one thing that gives me massive buzz while helping you complete your daily posting quest.

My Journey to Top 100 in Character Creators

I never really bothered with the rankings but recently I realized I was actually top 100 for new creators, and actually hit 24th place or something. Crazy to think I could hit something like that.

Since it was only for a 30 day period, my time was up and i'm not 'new' anymore.

But even more recently, I realized I'm close to top 100 on the Character Creators Leaderboards (who knows if you're reading this right now, I might already be top 100 lol)

So if you're reading this.. I want to ask for your support if possible.

The metric used for me to climb the leaderboards are actually the number of generations, likes on my models and downloads. You can support me by doing any of these actions.

I would say the most important is liking my models if you haven't already. Leaving a review is optional, but you could do that too.

I might even climb to the other leaderboards such as top 100 creators for Pony too. It is definitely an uphill battle for me fighting against people who create LORAs for anime waifus, which is more widely used too lol.

(PS. Also the person who keeps spamming haha on all my recent pictures, please keep doing so. i might actually hit top 100 on the leaderboards for comedians soon XD)

What's Next?

Essentially, nothing has changed. Still creating LORAs whenever I have free time and get more dragons out.

Of course, I would like some feedback. I usually do a basic test on the model to make sure it works, but sometimes I might miss out on things (I'm only human.. err.. dragon? Well, dragon.)

Essentially I'll be updating some of my models. I'm looking at updating a v2 for all my WoF Models to be more accurate (things like sandwing barbs, seawing wing patterns) but haven't found a way to do so yet that succeeded.

A quick question

My first test failed so I must be doing something wrong.I guess I should crowdsource for you LORA creators out there. How would I approach this? Should I be creating it under 'character' or under 'style' instead? I actually uploaded pictures of sandwing tail barb and I guess that could be the issue that trips up the AI. Would appreciate some help here!

To end it off...

But I think that's everything I want to talk about for now. I may update the article if I have newer thoughts I want to insert it, but if not then that's it for now.

Oh and one more thing

I just hit 300+ followers, and want to thank you all for supporting me!

Next milestone: 500+ followers! Seems so near yet so far.

Also recently i've been expanding to creating male dragons instead of just females initially, so I guess that is also what's next for me.

Ok i'm done writing.. so guess I'll get back to making more LORAs. If you're reading this then here's a spoiler, Toothless is coming next!

Have a great day and week ahead! πŸ˜†

EDIT: To those who tipped me on this article and directly to me after this article came up, thank you once again! Means a lot to me that people are enjoying what I'm creating too :)
