Thanks for 1,000 Follows! But first let's get to the good stuff.
Here is a link to a custom GPT that can help write prompts for CogVideoX.
Here is my workflow for for creating img2vid with CogVideoX.
Here are examples with prompts and generation info.
I made sure to log onto an account that doesn't have paid subscription to make sure it works. I believe without a subscription, there is a limit of 3 uploads before you have to wait for a few hours. Below is a test I did with an unpaid account:
I wish I could attach videos to articles, it would be much easier to share my findings with video examples, I tried converting to .gifs and that didn't seem to work. If anyone knows how to get video into an article, let me know and I would love to share some of the intricacies I've found.
This GPT is specifically geared towards prompting for CogVideo, I constantly gave it feedback on what worked and what didn't. Also you can tell it what undesirable results you got and it should have the knowledge base to effectively adapt the prompt (I would recommend using the same seed if there is only a minor thing you want to fix and get a new prompt).
It has knowledge of CFG and steps and can provide recommendations, but most of the feedback I've given it is based on 50 steps at CFG 8 since I was able to get consistent results with those value.
As for 1,000 follows, thanks everyone for following me. It's really cool to see this many people like the stuff I've made. This all started when I was making funny axolotl pictures with Microsoft's Image Creator. I tried to make one where it was Axolotl's robbing a bank making off with fries or something and then it told me that it was 'unsafe'. That phrasing was so ridiculous to me that I learned how to do all of this completely out of spite. What, was I going to poke my eye out or something? All for the best though, I don't come from a programming background, this is my first experience in artistic creation, open source, and installing python on my computer. I would have never discovered all of this and learned everything I did if not for that. So thanks for keeping me safe, Microsoft. 😂
