I made this image yesterday to test a new LoRA I made and it’s already my most popular image by a good margin, and doesn't look to be slowing down much. Before that my most popular was Donkey Kong in a minecart, which I posted last year, an obvious pairing using a then popular model. My next several most popular images were comedic, contest images, and/or attached to popular resources.
This one is none of those things. I have no idea why this one picture has become so popular and continues to gain popularity. The other image in the same post has had a single reaction, and neither resource’s other images have had interaction that even comes close. The character is very obscure, and the series she’s from is hardly A list (though it has its dedicated fans). It has to have shown up somewhere: It keeps getting lots of attention and (in my experience) due to Civitai’s low discoverability for things once they fall off the list of “newest” most interaction on a posted image after the first hours is from people seeing it on the LoRA page, but that’s already unlikely since nothing else there has gotten attention.
Can anyone tell me what is going on? I'd love to have this level of success in the future.
