The new Flux Tools were released by Black Forest Labs today. I found the Flux Redux tool to be very intriguing, but in my opinion the basic workflow released along side the model was lacking so I tried to improve on it with my expanded workflow.

In this article I want to use an example to explain how my workflow works and how it could be useful by making Flux Redux more controllable.
Settings
Firstly there are two images and the prompt that can be combine. Any settings and the seed were kept the same for this, so only the effect of mixing the images and the prompt is visible.
Use Case Example
Firstly a Conditioning Average Node is used to combine both images at different ratios
40% strength of image with the bear
45% strength of image with the bear
50% strength of image with the bear
I also added image flip nodes to align the images better, here 45% strength of the bear image and the image of the man with the gun is flipped.
Then the prompt is mixed in again, otherwise Flux Redux seems to ignore it.

75% prompt strength
65% prompt strength
After some fiddling I settled on 52% bear to 48% guy with gun and 78% prompt and 22% image:
