Tulsi Gabbard is an American politician and the presumptive nominee for the Director of National Intelligence under Donald Trump.

Gabbard has been accused of spreading and amplifying Russian propaganda, including false claims that the U.S. funded biological weapons labs in Ukraine (she later claimed she meant "biolabs").

In 2017, she took a trip to Syria and met with dictator Bashar al-Assad, and said she was "skeptical" that Syria had used chemical weapons. She opposed ousting al-Assad.

She has been praised in Russian state-run media multiple times.

There have been multiple government officials, including Republicans, who have remarked that they believe she may be a Russian agent/asset.
