การแต่งกายของหญิงสามัญยังคงใช้ผ้าผืนเดียว ถ้าไม่คาดอกก็ห่มสไบ ท่อนล่างเป็นโจงกระเบนเพื่อความรัดกุมและคล่องแคล่ว และบ้างก็จะมีเสื้อแขนยาวทับด้วยสะไบอีกชั้นหนึ่ง ทำให้ดูมิดชิดเรียบร้อย
