Kim Wilde is an English pop singer, songwriter, DJ, and author who rose to fame in the 1980s with her catchy pop hits and distinctive style. Born Kim Smith on November 18, 1960, in Chiswick, West London, she is the daughter of 1950s rock-and-roll singer Marty Wilde and Joyce Baker, a member of the singing group The Vernons Girls.
