Dame Diana Rigg was a renowned English actress, born on July 20, 1938, in Doncaster, Yorkshire, and passed away on September 10, 2020. She gained international fame for her role as Emma Peel in the TV series "The Avengers" (1965–1968) and as Countess Teresa di Vicenzo in the James Bond film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" (1969). Rigg's illustrious career spanned stage and screen, with notable performances in "Medea," for which she won a Tony Award, and as Olenna Tyrell in "Game of Thrones" (2013–2017). She was appointed CBE in 1988 and made a Dame in 1994 for her services to drama.
