TORNADO – A New Direction in Fantasy AI Art

TORNADO is the start of a bold new chapter in my model development journey. What began as an update to my earlier model, DreamcatcherFantasy, quickly evolved into something entirely its own. My goal? To create a versatile SDXL model that can bring to life everything from Middle Earth to Alice in Wonderland, from the Mushroom Kingdom to neon-soaked Cyberpunk — all without relying on LoRAs.

Let’s be honest: my initial vision for DreamcatcherFantasy was overly ambitious. I wanted a model that could do everything from A to Z — realism, fantasy, abstraction, you name it. But trying to cover everything led to compromises, and DCF struggled in key areas, especially realism.

TORNADO is my answer to that — the result of countless hours of refining ratios, testing weights, analyzing outputs, losing sleep, and learning from failure. It's still not the “holy grail” of a do-it-all model (spoiler: that probably doesn’t exist — artistic realism and abstract fantasy are often mutually exclusive), but it’s a significant leap forward.

Instead of aiming to master everything, TORNADO aims to excel within a focused yet rich space: high fantasy, surrealism, and stylized realism, inspired by the best of FLUX, MidJourney, and yes — even some incredibly underrated SD 3.5 imagery. It leans artistic, dramatic, imaginative — and it's designed to stun you visually.

The Mushroom Kingdom? Still elusive. But the journey’s just as exciting as the goal.

Along the way, I’ll continue building supporting LoRAs to fill the gaps, and eventually merge what works into future iterations. This is a living project — and you’re invited to follow along as it grows and evolves.
