I found your cartoon 1.1 model to be excellent as prototyper&feeder to more advanced checkpoints. Similar approach what you posted on description as 1.1->realistic 2.0 workflow. Generate latent as-is on decent size (lcm/karras, cfg 1.0, large rez 1384x1440 or such whatever fits to memory) and push it directly to another sampler running more advanced SDXL checkpoint. Basic non-converging Euler Ancestral (beta, karras, kl_optimal) seems to be best as it removes all cartoonish appearance even on low denoising. I use nearly same prompt for both. However, your CLIP is really daft, it struggles with skin color. I get more consistent results by wiring main checkpoint CLIP to DMD though I reckon it may remove variety. Using concat conditionings helps (also on main) but your CLIP is really dafter than e.g. EpicRealism or Lustify. Also your about comfy example nodes, just removing patchmodel downscale and clip skip does not matter much, at least in this use case.
