This is a kind of ceremonial school uniform (not for everyday use) from 70s and 80s in former Czechoslovakia known as "pionýrský kroj" worn by members of "pionýrská organizace SSM" (virtually all school kids). It was an attempt to unifiy all children and youth movements into one organization tightly coupled with the education system and keep it under influence of the ruling Communist party as everything was there those days. Fortunatelly it never succeeded to fulfill its goals. Voluntarily compulsory (there was an official "democracy", but any disagreement with the rulling party was punished in some non-official way) membership made it a formal organization with the same schizophrenia as the whole society, celebrating the ruling party in the public but speaking opposite in private space. Especially when a lot of club leaders came with roots from banned scouts or similar organizations. Their patience and courage to spread ideas of freedom between kids (I learnt a lot of anti-communist jokes at summer camps) also contributed to the final overthrow of the ruling Communist party.

So, it's a history and although it reminds me my happy childhood I hope it'll stay history forever. Nowadays this uniform can be seen as a "special fashion" worn at 70s/80s retro parties or as a part of school projects.
