48BIT RAW to PNG Tool

• Correctly converts most RAW formats to 16bit per channel PNG (48bit)

• Keeps the raw gamma channel as perceptive gamma

• Includes a .bat file that will automatically install the three python requirements and create a VENV for you

• Includes Royalty Free RAW example images

Currently Open-CV does not support ICC color profiles and PIL does not support 16 or 32bit per channel color. Some slight variation in color was noted do to color profiles.

Note: A 32bit PNG is not 32bit color it is 8bit color with a 8bit alpha channel. 32bit PER channel color is only used by film studios and professional photographers with very expensive equipment.

Editing a 4k 32bit color image will still smoke a RTX 5090 (Gimp cheats in 8bit unless you change to true color via preferences)
