UPDATE 16/06/25: The models are capped from the API also apparently (Even if you disable the NSFW filter options these do not appear), so if you look for them with extensions of ComfyUI, forge or others you should not get them. Congratulations Civitai, you have definitely killed the platform.

Since Civitai is bothered by the fact that the feed shows characters who only appear to be minors (and in many cases are not even minors, such as those from Schools Days XD) to people who have the X and XXX options checked (i.e., people who in many cases just want to see ALL the models recently uploaded to the platform, including NSFW and non-NSFW, and who probably aren't going to sexualize them by default) I feel compelled to make a compilation of shadowbanned models with links to inform:

Why am I doing this?

  • Feed: Shadowbanned models do not appear in followers' feeds, as I understand it, limiting their visibility, which could affect my performance as a creator in the rankings. (Not that I care much about that, but hey, it's a reason, right?) I'm doing this as a complementary measure because many of my followers are still unaware of the Civitai change or the whole card situation and could be browsing in X and XXX mode by default.

  • Although I disagree with the measure and could devote a large part of this post to criticizing it (it would be very long, and I don't want to ruin Civitai's reputation with arguments, because I like them and I understand why they do this.) I want to limit myself to providing information and explanations (I will just throw in a couple of measured jibes from time to time, but nothing too serious; there will be other places to comment on these changes from a logical or argumentative point of view).

  • I don't see a clear criterion when it comes to choosing models (the young Sonia model is not allowed, but the young Cinthia model is? XD) and many of those marked as minors by the mods are debatable (or simply not minors), which is a compelling reason for this article to exist, as false positives can objectively occur (and they will occur, and Civitai will surely not apologize for it).

  • Civitai has always been committed to open source transparency, to the point of having a list of prohibited terms on its official GitHub page. I pass this principle on to my followers and show them what Civitai shadowbans me for, because they deserve to know the status of what was uploaded on that day.

Note: Of course, given that the issue with Civitai and credit cards is quite active, I will not add any images of the models in question, as this would violate their current absurd restrictions and harm Civitai in the short term (I am also taking these measures just in case, an endless text post with a random image like this is bound to get lost among thousands of busty women and redundant models in the general feed, so the executioners don't have to worry about it reaching the ears of those with whom they are already negotiating with their Monopoly ticket reserves).

  • All the respective links will remain inaccessible if you browse in X or XXX, so I'm not bypassing anything per se (as if I could do so by providing links for people to install a plugin that automatically displays all the characters in the feed, which I know exists, but which I am not recommending in any case). I'm just informing my followers of the situation of some of the models they followed me for back in the day. (PS: I don't want this informative post to be labeled by a mod as "Intended to depict a minor character," as that would force me to make an informative post saying that the informative post has been shadowbanned without including explicit mentions of why it has been shadowbanned, as that could again shadowban the post XDDDD [At this point, we can already see how ridiculous everything has become xd] ).

By the way, for the mods who restrict my models by forcing them to check the box (the new and recently invented one, which I don't think you even informed us about), I would like to inform you that the reason I didn't check it in the past few days for characters who are clearly underage is because if I did, you could (just like you did with the famous ones. bad timing to put the box xd) do a Thanos snap and make them disappear if the mustachioed and typically evil owners of the credit cards that have you at their feet (or whoever you're talking to, is Donald Trump with you in the room right now?) say so. As you can imagine, I don't like this, and neither do my followers. I understand that you are obliged to follow these new rules and I feel for you, but please understand that I will not voluntarily check that box in the future and you will have to manually check it yourselves (or, of course, use one of those incredible AI systems that you are training through gamification and that will bring us so much joy in 2026). Please understand that the reason I am not checking the option per se is not because I accept or agree (which I do not) with shadowbanning content, but because of the latent possibility of total elimination of the marked models (It's funny that I'm being so implicit and annotative, but if I don't put it that way, you might misinterpret things, and I don't want to get banned for it).

I have good news for you. You just have to do something very simple to get him to reluctantly accept this new measure and mark the models. A mod assured me privately (no, in fact, he should say it publicly too; Civitai should get out of this rut of mistrust between creators and users) that the removal of these models (or any others that could be shadowbanned) is not on the table in the near future (3 years from now).

I have been as understanding as I can be about your situation (as I made clear in my message on Pastebin above, in which I do elaborate on my opinion). Now it is your turn to be understanding about the situation of creators and users and to understand our indignation and anger (which could worsen in the coming days/months if you continue to ignore it outright). That said, Have a good afternoon, and rest assured that I still believe that launching a platform like Civitai but with less censorship is possible and feasible, and I hope that we can all achieve this together, or at least that the Chinese, who are enthusiastically taking notes on this situation with pen and paper, will create a better website.
