Inspired by the enchanting trolls born from the hands of the Arensbak family, each digital troll you create with this model carries a piece of Smoky Mountain history. The Arensbaks—Ken, Neta, and their family—began crafting trolls in the 1950s, drawing from Scandinavian folklore and the wild beauty of their new Appalachian home. Their trolls, with their shaggy hair, nut noses, and woodland treasures, became beloved symbols of creativity and wonder, each one a unique character meant to bring luck and joy.

Woodland Trollmaker | FLUX.1 D Style model invites you to step into this magical tradition. Each troll is designed with:

  • Long, colorful hemp rope hair—dyed in the hues of the forest and mountain wildflowers.

  • Eyes of wooden beads on acorn caps, sparkling with mischief and kindness.

  • Noses made from nuts—walnut, buckeye, hickory, and more, each chosen for its texture and charm.

  • Attire and accessories made from moss, bark, and forest finds, just as the Arensbaks intended.
