Sensacionales are a type of adult comic that proliferated in Mexico during the 1980s and 1990s. They are rich in sexual and action-packed content, printed in a small format, with 100 color pages, spines, and attractive covers.

Many renowned artists were forced to work for this market out of necessity, although they often signed their pages with pseudonyms out of shame.

Most scans of these books are absolutely terrible, on top of the source material being poor quality pulp paper with low quality printing. But with some upscaling and light editing it turned out well. Edited out most text, though some background signage was left. Speech bubbles were mostly left in, but it doesn't generate them. If they do add speech bubble to the negatives. Vast majority of the art was of women, but left in a few guys.

I plan on creating more styles based on different artists!

  • El Libro Vaquero
The grand daddy of Mexican pulp comics. Used art from a variety of artists, but their style was pretty similar for the most part. These were the absolute worst scans I've ever seen. Will need to add "flat color" to get closer to the comic book look. "Manly" helps when generating men, first time I ever see the tagger use this tag, so you know these were some really manly men.

  • Covers by Bazaldua
Prolific cover artist, and possibly the most iconic artist of the era. Drew hundreds of covers for a variety of books. Now draws for Marvel comics! Trained mostly on original paintings. When covers were used the magazine logos and other text were edited out, so will not generate text or logos. Subject matter is more diverse than the other models, including guns, cars, and animals. Some cowboy/western art as well. This one has more men in the image sources than the others.

  • Manuel Martinez Navarrete
Found in comic books such as Bellas de Noche and Las Chambeadoras. Style is more cartoony than most.

  • Clown girls from Las Chambeadoras #203
This is my favorite book, and honestly made me laugh reading it. Art by Jaime Sanchez. The only 2 characters are Puchita (redhead) and Guayabita (blonde) but didn't tag their names separately. Will generate each by tagging the hair (short hair, blonde) (long hair, red hair), and the tag of "clown." Did include pictures without the clown makeup, so it shouldn't generate clown girls unless specifically tagged. Can be used as a general style lora for the art style, but might not be very flexible. Has trouble generating men, as I didn't include any, as every single man was either hideous and/or a racist caricature.

  • Jaime Sanchez
Artist for Las Chambeadoras, as well as Luchas Calientes, Aca Los Maistros, and Microbuseros. Same artist as the clown girls, but with a more diverse image set. This one can actually generate men. Sources scans for some of these were truly awful, and on top of that the books themselves were dirty, combined with his artstyle, you'll get random black spots sometimes. Either lower the strength of the lora, or add "dirty, blemishes, moles" to the negatives.
