📸 Liam Wong is a Scottish-born photographer, director, and former video game designer known for his striking neon-noir aesthetic. He rose to prominence with his debut photo series Tokyo Nights (TO:KY:OO), capturing the surreal beauty of urban Japan after dark. His work blends influences from cyberpunk cinema, Japanese animation, and science fiction, often evoking the mood of films like Blade Runner and Enter the Void.

Originally an art director at Ubisoft Montreal, Wong transitioned into photography in 2015 after purchasing his first DSLR. His images quickly gained international attention, leading to collaborations with artists, musicians, and filmmakers. His photobooks TO:KY:OO (2019) and After Dark (2022) showcase his mastery of color, composition, and atmosphere.

Wong’s work is not just visual, it’s cinematic, contemplative, and emotionally resonant. He often explores themes of urban solitude, memory, and timelessness, transforming everyday scenes into dreamlike moments that invite reflection.
