Not much on Lum's Mom. She is much like an older version of Lum as she has the powers of electricity and flight. Otherwise, she doesn't speak a word of Japanese. She talks in a jibberish-like Oni language, depicted as mah-jong tiles in the manga. I suppose in the third movie, she activated the universal translator, as she spoke in a normal Earth language.
