Very easy to use on automatic1111, just add to the folder mentioned in the description, then go under settings, choose the new VAE and click the apply/save button. I was using this in seconds and never had any blank generations or problems at all. I tried this with several base models and loras, and compared the results to the basic VAE I already had, and this gives a slight boost to line definition and certain details, without changing anything so obvious it doesn't look like the same models- very nice and not too much. I spent four hours playing around and I've decided to keep this as my default VAE going forward. Thanks so much for the effort you put into making and sharing this, I am trying to increase the quality of my images closer to some of the amazing stuff I see on here and this has gotten me one step closer ^u^
