Based on black-and-white illustrations by Dutch artist Anton Pieck. His style focuses on folklore, fairy tales, history, traditional architecture, and atmosphere. He uses not only Europe as his subject matter, but also the Middle East. This lora is based on his ink drawings (lithographs), so this style is slightly different from his color drawings. He also draws very good monsters. SD1.5 version can be found here: https://civitai.com/models/1797248/dark-fairy-tale-style-lora-ink-drawings-anton-pieck-sd15?modelVersionId=2033941
It's not as faithfull to his style as the SD1.5-version. You will need extensive prompting and attempts. But you can get there (see my examples). I found a strenght of 0.9 to work best, but it's a bit hit and miss.
Use "monster" in the negative prompt if you want to depict a human. (many monsters in the dataset).
The style should be black and white without gray shading. You'll need to adjust the prompt to achieve this: add "monochrome, grayscale" to the positive prompt and "shaded" to the negative prompt.
Trained with 100 black-and-white images with the base ponymodel. The images in the dataset depict primarily European themes, but there are 20 images with an Arabic theme and a few East Asian images. (Tags to consider: medieval architecture, medieval clothing, castle, medieval city, Arabic clothing, Arabic architecture, fez hat, turban, hijab, djinn, Asian, East Asian architecture).
