Artist biography

Apollonia Saintclair appeared on the web from nowhere in 2012. A self-taught illustrator with a tortuous past, she draws for her pleasure and that of her audience.

Her imagination is fueled by pop culture as well as academic canons, and her graphic influences range from Leonardo to Moebius – among many other European comic artists. She also finds inspiration in The Silver Spoon.

She has published multiple art books and collaborated with Erika Lust and La Musardine, the renowned french erotic publishing house, and with magazines like Vogue, Dazed, Juxtapoz, Vice, Playboy and NAKID.
