The Fanlingpao (幡領袍) was a type of Chinese robe that originated during the Tang dynasty (618–907 CE). It is characterized by its round collar (ling, 領) and long, flowing form. Unlike earlier wide-sleeved Hanfu styles, the Fanlingpao had a more fitted, tailored look, influenced by Central Asian and nomadic fashions that entered China along the Silk Road.
