Life Behind Iron Curtain - Old Slides Style

This LoRA was trained on a collection of couple hundred photos (diapositives or slides if you prefer) created by my father in the in the 70s and 80s showing portraits and scenes from life in the communist (Polish People's Republic or PRL) Poland. Made with Zenith and Smiena cameras using ORWO Chrom UT18, Agfa Agfachrome and some soviet films.

It will introduce:

• analog feel

• overal ugliness

• artifacts

• depressing tones

I intentionally left the dust, hair and so on on the diapositives I scanned.

While in general I cut the photos of people who still live or detailed close portraits of people from the training dataset it still generates images who will vaguely resemble real people so please use it reasonably.

XL version in progress.

Use simple prompts for best results. Don't use stupid synthetic keywords like "worst quality", "low quality" they don't do anything and never did (nobody tags pictures like this). Use weight of around 0.8 and clip skip of 1. CFG Scale should be 6-8. Upscaling is recommended for the best results.
