CHUNKY CHROMATISM for FLUX & CHROMA
Style LORA for Expressive Impressionism Painting Style
Update 04SEP2025 : I made another version specifically trained with CHROMA. Check the tabs for the corresponding model.
If you like this model, please share your own creations and/or leave a comment! This shows your appreciation and offers encouragement. I would love to see what you come up with!
TRIGGER WORD:
chunkychr0m4t1sm
but I recommend using instead: chunkychr0m4t1sm painting
WHAT DOES THIS LORA DO?
Gives your image a painting style with thick, brushstroke style, mostly with bold and vivid colors. Thick, chunky brushstrokes and vibrant color contrasts.
Key Characteristics of the Style :
Emphasize texture, emotion, and a dynamic use of colors with:
Expressive Color Palette: Mostly Bold, saturated colors used to evoke emotion and depth.
Realism with Abstraction: Subjects are recognizable but rendered with loose, expressive brushwork.
Light and Shadow: Dramatic contrasts to highlight form and mood.
Impasto Technique: mostly thick, large paintbrush strokes
RECOMMENDED SETTINGS (for FLUX version):
LORA WEIGHT: 1
Start with 1, decrease for lighter effect
PROMPT:
The LORA is intentionnaly strong and can turn any regular prompt into a painting of that style without any mention of painting or style.
However I recommend starting with just the mention of painting (chunkychr0m4t1sm painting)
if for certain prompts/seeds, you need a stronger effect (heavy impasto, etc..) , I recommend describing it in the prompt instead of increasing weight to much as it can overburn fast, e.g. :
painting style with thick, textured brushstroke style, bold and vivid colors. Emphasizes thick, chunky brushstrokes and vibrant color contrasts
Impasto technique
palette knife painting
large cubic brushstrokes
If you want even more textures: I recommend adding this model :https://civitai.com/models/777325/zavys-rough-paint-flux (weight ZAVY's : 0.8 ; CHUNKY CHROMATISM : 1)
SAMPLER/SCHEDULER:
-RES_2s + BETA(57)
-ER_SDE (or Euler) + BETA(57)
-(ER_SDE) + DDIM_UNIFORM
-DEIS/RES_MULTISTEP + KL_OPTIMAL
-DPMPP_2m+karra for even more variety, mixed results
I get very nice results with Chroma too.
