i've tried v1; v2 and v3 have several things that i dont like. pros: the workflow upscales and enhances as advertised and keeps temporal consistency so its not another dumb upscaler where each frame is dramatically different than the next, its a proper video upscaler. in my tests works best on realistic clips as opposed to cartoon animation. cons: on 12 gb i can only process like ~180 frames before i oom, thats like 6 seconds @ 30 fps. i tried it on an old transformers commercial and the animation part didnt work great, it changed the robots too much, maybe lowering the denoise strength would help, it also change the kids in the commercial to look like men lol, again finetuning the denoise and better prompting could help, but im looking for a more general upscaler/denoiser, if i have to split the video on scenes it kinda defeats the purpose. final verdict: great tool for short clips.
