With this LORA, I'm mainly aiming to recreate a red-light district from around 1800.
The standard prompts will bring up kimonos and courtesans, but kimonos are something
you would wear on special occasions in modern times, not something you'd wear on an
everyday basis. Similarly, courtesans are something you see in modern tourist spots for
commemorative photos.
Of course, there's nothing wrong with that, but I find it interesting to recreate the period as
closely as possible.
このLORAでは主に１８００年頃の遊郭の再現を目指しています。
標準のプロンプトでも着物や花魁なら出るのですが、着物は現代の晴れの日に着るもので日常的に着るものは出ません。同じく花魁も現代の観光地で見かける記念撮影用コスプレです。
もちろんそれが悪いわけではありませんが、当時をできる限り再現するのも私にとっては興味深い作業です。

Edo Yoshiwara Yūkaku was a famous pleasure quarter during the Edo period in Japan.
江戸吉原遊郭は、日本の江戸時代に栄えた有名な歓楽街でした。

It was a licensed district for courtesans, similar to a red-light district, but with a unique
culture and strict rules.
それは公認された遊女の地区で、歓楽街に似ていましたが、独自の文化と厳格な規則があ
りました。

Zashiki-mochi Hirusan was a specific high-ranking courtesan system in Yoshiwara. A Zashiki-
mochi was a top-tier courtesan who had her own private room, and Hirusan was a type of
all-day entertainment she offered.
「座敷持 昼三」は、吉原における特定の高級遊女の制度でした。「座敷持」は、自分の個室を持つ最高級の遊女であり、「昼三」は彼女が提供する終日のおもてなしの一種でした。

The payment for a courtesan's time was "kin san-bu" (three-fourths of a single Ryō of gold), which is why their service was known as "hirusan" (day three). Since it's impossible to directly convert that to modern currency, let’s use the example of a profession that still exists today: a carpenter.
遊女の労働時間に対する報酬は「金三分」（金一両の4分の3）で、そのため彼女たちの労働は「昼三」（ちゅうさん）と呼ばれていました。これを現代の貨幣にそのまま換算することはできないので、現代に残る職業である大工を例に挙げてみましょう。

Back then, a carpenter was a highly-paid specialist, similar to a master architect or an expert craftsman today. Their one-day wage ("kin ichi-bu," or a quarter of a Ryō) was enough to buy a bale of rice, which could feed a single person for about a month.
当時の大工は、現代の建築家や熟練の職人のような高給取りの専門家でした。彼らの1日の賃金（「金一分」（金一両の4分の1）は、米一俵を買うのに十分な額で、一人暮らしで約1ヶ月分の食料を賄うことができました。

So, "kin san-bu" was not only three days' worth of pay for a top-tier craftsman, but also a substantial sum that could cover a common person's food expenses for three full months.
Those who could afford to pay such a large sum of money were primarily economically successful merchants and cultural figures.
つまり、「金三分」は、一流の職人の3日分の賃金であるだけでなく、庶民の3ヶ月分の食費を賄うのに十分な金額でもありました。
それだけの大金を支払うことができたのは、主に経済的に成功した商人や文化人でした。

It's important to understand the immense value of this payment within its social context. Many of these women were not looked down upon; on the contrary, they were often held in a certain kind of respect. Their actions, selling themselves to the pleasure quarters, saved their families from ruin caused by disasters or famine. This was considered an act of filial piety, which was deeply respected.
この報酬が社会的な文脈においてどれほど大きな価値を持っていたかを理解することが重要です。彼女たちの多くは軽蔑されるどころか、ある種の尊敬の念を抱かれていました。彼女たちの行動、遊郭への身売りは災害や飢饉による破綻から家族を救うこととなりました。それは深く尊敬される親孝行の行為でした。

In the early 1800s, the Edo shogunate frequently issued sumptuary laws to control
spending, which made it illegal for ordinary people to wear brightly colored kimonos.
Official red-light districts, however, were tacitly exempted from these strict rules,
allowing for a degree of opulence that was forbidden elsewhere.
1800年代初頭、江戸幕府は支出を抑制するために頻繁に贅沢禁止令を発布し、庶民が鮮やかな色の着物を着ることを禁じました。しかし、公認の遊郭はこれらの厳格な規制から暗黙のうちに除外され、他の場所では禁じられていた程度の贅沢が許容されていました。

Hikizuri refers to a style of wearing a kimono with the hem trailing on the ground. This style was seen among samurai families in the early Edo period but faded over time. Naturally, a length that drags on the ground is impractical for doing housework, so it was a style worn by ladies of high status who were not required to do chores. Yoshiwara was one of the places where such cultural traditions of the samurai and court nobility remained strong.
The obi she is holding is called a maebi, which is a way of holding the sash to make its beautiful, elaborate pattern stand out more.
引きずりとは、着物の裾を地面に引きずって着る着方です。江戸時代初期に武家の間で見られましたが、時代とともに廃れていきました。裾を引きずる長さでは家事をするのに不便なため、家事をする必要のない身分の高貴な女性が着ていた着方です。吉原は、こうした武家や公家の文化が色濃く残る場所の一つでした。

彼女が持っている帯は「前帯」と呼ばれ、帯の美しく精巧な模様をより際立たせるための持ち方です。

Higher in rank than a Chūsan, the Oiran was the highest-ranking courtesan of the pleasure quarters. The combs and hairpins that adorned her head are famous but were also extremely heavy. It's said that because of their weight, it was difficult to move her head alone, and she had to turn her entire body to look behind her. While she wore a full set of these ornaments for the Oiran Dōchū procession, she would have been much more lightly adorned in her daily life.
昼三よりもさらに上。遊郭の最高位、花魁の頭を飾る櫛やかんざしが有名ですが非常に重く、頭だけを動かすことは困難で、体ごと体制を変えなければ振り向けなかったそうです。花魁道中ではもちろんフルセットともいえる装いをしますが、普段はもっと身軽だったでしょう。　

Depending on the scale of the establishment, it seems that Chūsan would sometimes appear at the mise. The mise was a place where, in an era before photographs, customers would first meet the courtesans with whom they would form a pseudo-marital bond.
店の規模によって異なりますが、昼三（ちゅうさん）は見世（みせ）に出ていることもあったようです。見世とは、写真のない時代に、疑似的な夫婦の契りを交わす遊女と初めて対面する場所でした。

"What, that's it?!" I can almost hear you say! But don't worry, I've got a surprise. When it comes to the room itself, the most important part, I can generate a pretty decent one with the right prompts.

*I tested several characters that can be summoned by default in Illustrious. The results are
more or less as expected, but I'll report them here.
◯ Some hair colors look strange. It's a matter of preference, but unrealistic colors like green and blue do look a bit strange.
◯ Characters with extremely large breasts don't look good in kimono. This is the same in real life, so I guess it can't be helped. Glamorous people apparently stuff towels into the bottom to make a cylindrical shape, or use various other methods.

※illustrious標準で呼び出せるキャラでいくつかテストしました。おおよそ予想通りですが結果を報告。
◯違和感のある髪色がある。黒や焦げ茶はおおよそ大丈夫。好みの問題ですが緑や青など、現実的でない色はやはり違和感はあります。
◯極端に胸が大きいキャラは和服が似合わない。これは現実でもそうですから致し方ないかと思います。グラマラスな方はタオルをつめて寸胴にしたり色々と工夫されるそうです。

- We will contact the management and request removal as harassment, bullying, and malicious attack, and explain the details of the behavior.
- LORA will be deleted, and the name of the person who caused it will be announced, with a link to that person's page.
- Other measures will be taken as much as possible.
