Pufferfish, also known as fugu or blowfish, are fish that can quickly inflate their bodies by swallowing water or air when threatened, turning into a round ball. They are mostly found in tropical and subtropical seas. While pufferfish meat is considered a delicacy, many species contain a deadly toxin (tetrodotoxin), which can be fatal if not prepared properly.
